NASA Eyes Significant Changes!!!!!!
Posted by AlexanderTheMartian on September 8, 2022 at 7:42 amRecently NASA made some significant changes to their NASA Eyes Visualization Site https://eyes.nasa.gov/apps/solar-system/#/home. The site is absolutely amazing! They now have a travel to the future and past bar at the bottom of the page. Not only does the site show the unique rotations of Moons and planets but now the site includes spacecraft!!! So you can travel in time to the future and past and see major events conducted by spacecraft!!! Overall a 10/10 website!!!

When you click on an event to watch you scroll through it and it shows you where and how a spacecraft made its major discoveries! For example, I had a lot of fun seeing the NASA eyes animation for Cassini’s Discovery at Enceladus https://eyes.nasa.gov/apps/solar-system/#/story/enceladus_discovery. I was able to see Cassini make a flyby of Enceladus and flyby through one of its water plumes

It also links to some more amazing online NASA sites for example here is another cool 3d NASA software that allows you to deploy instruments on a 3d Insight Lander. https://eyes.nasa.gov/apps/experience-insight/InSight.html
