About Me	I grew up in California then moved to Germany in 2013 where I have been ever since. I spent the first two years in graduate school and teaching English at the German American Institute. Since finishing school I moved with my wife to the northern part of Germany, to live close to the Baltic sea. I am employed in the renewable energy sector, concentrating on optimizing windfarm projects predominantly in Germany. We have three kids and we realize that to rely on the schooling system to help our kids gain any profound understanding in life, is to come short of our obligation as parents. The world is changing faster than we can make decisions in legislation thus ruling conventional schools inadequate for understanding what is happening currently in the world. I am excited to discuss more about the future of learning.
Hobbies & Interests	I am interested in the extent of human capabilities. Before having kids I spent more time racing and training for triathlons, which is why I get inspired when I read about people doing extreme swims across the British canal or bike rides around the world and so on. I have a high expectation for the performance of the body and the mind and I try to surround myself with notions of endless possibilities. I am also occasionally interested in finances, math and programming excel sheets for different purposes. I wish I had understood as a kid why math could one day be so important… I am interested in dissecting history to constantly reassess its damnation to repetition. I am interested in Music from the 1960s and 1970s. I am interested in a free world without nation-states.
