I live in eastern Massachusetts and am an owner of Black Earth Compost.  We collect about 250 tons of food scraps each week to be recycled.  We operate 3 compost facilities, some advanced, some primitive.  I am working on the organic waste management problem.  I am also an Earth scientist with a BS from UMass Amherst where Lynn Margulis was my mentor.  I am not a deep thinker nor do I read many books, I prefer observation and being in the ditches to learn.
