Plants Grown In Lunar Soil
Earlier this year, NASA grew plants in lunar samples collecting the Apollo Program to see if lunar colonists in the future could use lunar soil to grow plants. You can read more about it here: https://www.nasa.gov/feature/biological-physical/scientists-grow-plants-in-soil-from-the-moon. It was quite interesting to see that the plants grew depending on what region of the moon the soil was from. Additionally, the plants didn’t grow as well as normal plants would in Earth soil however indeed the plants still grew!
