Plants Grown In Lunar Soil
Earlier this year, NASA grew plants in lunar samples collecting the Apollo Program to see if lunar colonists in the future could use lunar soil to grow plants. It was quite interesting to see that the plants grew depending on what region of the moon the soil was from. Additionally, the plants didn’t grow as well as normal plants would in Earth soil however indeed the plants still grew!

I’d like to read more about this and see if it’s possible to replicate the lunar regolith soil using accessible materials, and experiment with long-term growth of plants which may be suitable for animal consumption.
