SUMMARY:I am an inventor and innovator – Learning Activity Ages 6-9 Years
DESCRIPTION:Train your brain to become even more creative and learn how to use 3D printing for your inventions.\nTo kick off the session we are going to start talking about innovating and inventing. Kids can share examples of what they made before using various materials. Then we will go through some fun activities to train their brain to become even more innovative and creative. Finally, we will explore how 3D printing can help children make their imaginary ideas come alive. We will explore a few 3D design and modelling tools available for small children.\nFor this activity access to an iPad or a smartphone with a larger screen is recommended and we might need to ask parents to assist with downloading a few free apps.\nThis is an adult-hosted event by Petra Rees.\nA working camera is required.\nThis event is not recorded.\n \n
